Conservation and land use entail many conflicts that have to be negotiated. These concern not only the direct impacts of land use on biodiversity and economy, but also differing perceptions among
people and stakeholders regarding goals and priorities. This video, based on the Conservation Management field course run by ETH Zurich, explores these issues in the Highlands of Scotland.
